Something that sticks out in many KLK fanfictions that will always annoy me: Having Satsuki run any sort of incarnation of Revocs. It is completely out of character for Satsuki, who built her own empire, to step into one someone else has created. Especially one created by her mother, whom she absolutely despises.

Satsuki is fairly pragmatic, and only built her empire to fight against her mother. Plus with Ragyo dead, Satsuki gains the company and will have to take care of it in some manner. Just leaving her mother's empire to rot and not following up on absolutely everything to do with it is more out of character for her.

In the script there is a scene outlined that didn't quite make the show itself, but basically it expands on what they are all doing after graduation. Specifically Satsuki affirms that "Student Council President Satsuki Kiryuin and the Elite Four will take full responsibility and deal with the aftermath." Nonon was to study business, Houka would try to become computer crime consultant, Iori will be researching life fibers at the "Kiryuin research institute", and Uzu would be going back to help his "family's Konnyaku business while possibly further studying kendo". First three specifically attending "Kiryuin University" after she inherits the "Kiryuin corporation".
In the OVA proper: Nonon is "preparing to take over the jakuzure corp", Houka's "studying IT", Iori is "studying life fibers" as they head to college, and Uzu "will be helping out at home as he continues kendo". Later she did say she planed on "creating a better world for those who don't make sense", but she didn't disagree with Ryuko when she mentioned that Satsuki had "finally put away her sword". These don't contradict so it can be safely assumed the plan has not changed, they just had to shrink it to fit the episode.
As a side note this same scrapped scene states that when her meeting with the elites was over she went back to Ryuko and Soroi. Very possible that she was staying with Satsuki in some way for a time. The dream lives on!

Trigger did not put a timeline, and no calendars, but it can be worked out.
Including the OVA the show "ends" at graduation of the senior class. Typical Japanese graduation is in march, seeing as the school is in Tokyo this lines up as the cherry trees were blossoming around them and march / early April is the bloom period there.
Taking Ryuko and Mako going to Ira's hometown to study at Rinne into account they probably came back after the first term which starts in April and lets out for summer break in July. Satsuki was wearing a light skirt, Mako was in shorts, and everything in the background was rather "warm" so it works out that they met again in the summer.
Going by the clothes worn by regular people in the scenes where they are being wrapped to make the cocoon sphere, episode 24 takes place in either the late fall or winter. Working backward from the OVA again it states that the first scene is two weeks after the final battle and that first scene is about 30 days before the academy shuts down ie: graduation ( lets say a month). This puts Ep 24 sometime in mid to late January to put graduation in March.

I'm in need of more Satsryuu fics to go through. I've just caught up on the Seamstress AU series and I can say outside of like one or two things I'm really liking it so far. I understand that the author is occasionally around here so if you are around Vagabond, it's a really enjoyable series so far. I dropped out on End of Days after trudging through three chapters of Coldsteel the Hedgeheg garbage which is a shame because the series started promising. I'm watching the One Hell of a Drink AU but chances are that series won't update for a while.

While I think Kurouga writes (and draws) better, and personally have a soft spot for post-apoc stuff / dark stuff, such stories might not be for everyone. As far as my work is concerned Anon is too kind, criticisms are welcome if anythings wrong. Sorry it's taking a bit to actually get the chapters written. An mediocre Red for proof.
As far as current long works go for pure sisters there's physically not much. War and peace has it's moments, puscifier may or may not be back for some quality lewds eventually, Chef la chef updated in January. Bunch of one offs here and there come up.

Problem is, /tg/ uses that for threads that are mostly not full of pictures like our threads are. Pictures take up a lot more space than straight up text, and the on-demand archive even warns against pic dump threads being archived.

Hey Vagabond, it's awesome to hear from you. I'm really enjoying your Seamstress AU so far. I usually find dialogue to be the hardest thing to write and for a series that's kinda dialogue heavy it's been of pretty good quality all around. As such I don't mind the wait at all between chapters. The only things I can really offer as criticism probably aren't worth much but I'll see if I can offer anything worthwhile.
With all the dialogue heavy scenes I don't usually have a problem following the characters and what they are getting at when they talk, except for the odd occasion with Satsuki. It's not bad, and going over some parts a second time gets it to make more sense. I'm more than likely just an idiot who can't pick up on shit the first time. Beyond that the only line of dialogue I can think of that felt weird wasWhen Ryuko threatened to turn the ball of life fibers into pussy floss.That line just felt kinda weird coming from her.That and Nonon seems crazy abusive to Ryuko at times. I know they never really got along in the show at all, but Nonon has made cracks about their mom, called Ryuko a straight up monster and despite Satsuki's insistence there haven't been many scenes of the two together where Nonon is even trying to not be awful to her. At least not where Ryuko is directly threatening her with fiber tentacles.Then again this is just me being a whiny bitch.

Trying to give each character a unique "vocal pattern" if that makes sense. For example Ryuko tends to fall back on lazy speech and slurs except when she gets serious. For Satsuki slips into Shakespearean English and hums when the mood strikes. Problem might be in sentences sometimes structured a bit for rhyme?
While Red was rather unbalanced there it was a threat to torture the semi intelligent mass by making them a pair of abuseable panties. The first set she can't get too aggressive on as they are effectively still tied to her.
The general name callings more back and forth ribbing than malicious intent... mostly, and she does honestly apologize when things get too heated sometimes. Especially after experiencing first hand just why "her" lady could be so attached to Red. Scenes of her interactions with and manipulating Ryuko for the glimpses into her fibers, alongside the physical experience, didn't make the cut for being a bit too dark. Did reference that both Kiryuins have issues to work out. Touched on her history but still not sure if I want to explore it fully. Opportunity abounds with the new position for Pinky though.
My Spring Break begins next week, so if I manage to finish a fic I'm currently writing for a different series, I may try my hand at something KLK related.

Preface: In the original Japanese there are multiple ways to say mother and father with different connotations. This can give us a good idea on relationships.
Satsuki refers to soichiro as "chichioya" which is respectful but not really formal form of father. Ryuko refers to Isshin with both the casual "tousan" and as chichioya as well. However Ryuko directly said "she had hated him at times, but really knew nothing about him". Satsuki said that "father trusted her with the truth", possibly thought more highly of him than Ryuko did before the later learned about herself and his reasons more.

In terms of Ragyo: Satsuki speaks in every way she can to not say mother. Going so far as to not use any form of the word even when speaking directly with Ragyo and just using implied noun sentences (subtitles add in mother sometimes to make them more clear of who she is referring to). The one time ( I can recall) that she does (Bathtime) she uses "okaasama" the very formal version of mother sometimes reserved for "mother-in-law". She basically refused as much as possible to even consider her a biological mom.
As far as Ryuko goes,she was more stuck up on calling Satsuki sister then saying okaasan, formal, right at the end. Didn't bat at eye at her suicide. She probably didn't care much at all either way.
As far as one of them wanting to suckle: Ryuko has a soft spot for accepting boobs into her life (Mako, Sukyo, Nee-san, smiled after stripping shark tits). Which is where the whole "she might be really into boobs" thing comes from.

I didn't realize that Satsuki still barely relents - mentally - to Ragyu in the purification scenes by not really calling her 'mom'. It makes sense later on with her whole plan being to fuck her mom's plan sidewise, even though it looked to the viewer as though this was a time when even the iron-blooded Satsuki could be vulnerable.

You notice things after watching a series twice or thrice, especially involving the whole honorific system. It gives things a bit more depth and you learn why a character would say X instead of Y, or if there is a meaning when "there are words that should be there but aren't, why?"

Now how deeply she held this belief is unknown, but considering the totalitarian regime and constant references to the masses as mere "pigs" it was not something she figured out of the blue. Most every person in her life to that point was either directly enraptured/enslaved by Ragyo, useless, or one of the literal handful of substantial individuals she found and groomed as semi-competant lieutenants. Being raped for a lifetime while surrounded by hundreds of servants that never spoke a peep of protest (Hoomaru gave 0 fucks sending her to the bath) probably didn't help as her ideology formed. People were rotten and needed saving from themselves.
That smile after being proved wrong for once in her life though was genuine as hell. Matoi got one person to break the mold, there was maybe some hope for the masses after all. This culminates in the OVA when she wants Hoomaru to live, and help her make that better world for everyone in it.

Basically the uncanny valley is a concept dealing with how human something looks and how much people like that something. As a general rule, people like things more when they look human, but there is a point where something isn't qutie human looking enough that makes it unlikeable.
