Seriouly though, if they left the arm behind they left part of Ember Celica behind, and while Yang is not as attached to her weapon as Ruby is to Crescent Rose and is going to need to do some major overhauls of her combat style either way, it's still sad to see her lose part of her weapon.

Anyone think neo is going to defect at some point next sesson? Imo she was more Romans merc than cinders. I'm assuming she wants revenge, so she may stay with cinder for that reason but she could also go on her own revenge mission. if that happens then she just has to get her ass kicked and then be offered forgiveness for a redemption arc.
Alternately she blames cinder for the outcome and goes free agent occasionally helping out the beacon crew.

Blake x Yang has some fairly heavy subtext and could become canon in the next episode(Yang was named as something Blake loves, as well has ragebursting harder than we've seen her ever do before when Blake was stabbed, also handholding in the preview for next episode), but unless Oum/RT has bigger balls than I thought, will unfortunately most likely remain heavy subtext
Nora x Ren is kind of a thing if the OST for S2 is to be believed, but it hasn't really seen anything in the show and they seem more like siblings than lovers
Ruby x Weiss has some light teasing
Ruby x Penny has some light teasing
Blake x Sun was toyed with for lots of Volume 2 and some earlier parts of Volume 3, but seems to be largely dropped in favor of Blake x Yang

Addendum, regarding the last two:
Glynda x Cinder is, as far as I recall, entirely speculation (on the same level as Roman x Neo), in that they seemed to know each other when they met briefly. Even if it is canon, it hardly has any relevance in the show at this point and could be considered on the same level as the implied parents of all the characters.
Blake x Adam is honestly in a weird spot because the latest episode basically confirmed what the Black Trailer hinted at, that they were a couple. That being said, the way Blake talks about him a few episodes prior (when talking to Yang about the Vytal Tournament fiasco) combined with the way Adam talks about Blake in the latest episode almost sounds like it was more of a one-sided obsession that Blake was trying to keep Adam from falling into, but failed miserably, rather than a mutual romantic relatinoship. Again, that's just personal speculation, and the most official word we have on that is that Adam is/was in love with Blake.
I get the feeling Raven is going to end up being the big bad after Neo's reaction to seeing her when she saved Yang and Cinder's "She was right about you," line to Ozpin.

It's too big for a single character to kill, unless someone ludicrously powerful is introduced it's going to be a joint effort. If it is dying they're going to have to crash Amity on it or something. Having Qrow, Ironwood, Winter, and anyone else present (Glynda?) all fighting the same enemy would be cool and a good way to keep tension in the show by showing that there really are things the main characters are just flat-out incapable of handling at the moment.

So. in a world constantly under threat from supernatural man-eaters, protected only by a loose coalition of semi-superhuman warriors, how do you get the large urban centers and concentrated populations that any kind of complex production chain requires?
You have to brute-force it some. After all, a high population density leads to more human malice and negative emotion, leading to worse Grimm attacks, which leads to more fear, which leads to blame, which leads to more malice.... When this cycle is common knowledge, if you want people living in any kind of close quarters, you need one hell of a good reason. This can be
1:) an easily exploitable and/or necessary resource,
2:) a chance at security
3:) a good reason to not leave
When Haakon "Longtooth" Fang established The Great City (the contemporary title of what would over time go through various names until settling on Atlas) around the Dust mines of the White Spine Mountains, and then made emigration a capital offense, his citizens had all 3.
Now while Haakon was a pretty brutal warlord, having forced people at swordpoint to move into his new metropolis, he was also an intelligent one, and fairly... honorable, in that if he wanted something done, he was almost certainly prepared to do it himself, and he would see it to completion. He knew that creating this city-state made it his responsibility, and he made it a surprisingly ok place to live, outside of the painful deaths that awaited those who tried to leave. Research was encouraged, disease control protocols and a near-modern sewer system (the first of their kind on remnant) established, a strong conscript (later volunteer) military to man the walls and fight the grimm raised, and a very fair legal code established.

It's not a coincidence that her Semblance looks just like the family crest, like Winter said it's hereditary.
To what degree we're not sure, M&K implied in one of the streams that Semblances could be both hereditary and unique. The basics seem to be pretty much the same, namely that Schnees can pump Dust into the glyphs to create just about everything from projectile generation to time dilation. Summoning seems to be just one application of the glyphs.

The first Dust-fueled blast furnace was a crude thing, and it did not survive its 5th use. Historical accounts differ wildly on just how much Dust was actually traded (from nearly nothing to a mountain of Burn crystals) and how necessary the food was, (from the trade being a pretense to Longtooth suffering from famine and cannibalism in the streets) but the important part was the cultural exchange. The farmers, woodsmen and Huntsfolk of Vale met the miners, soldiers and sailors of Longtooth for the first time, and curiosity abounded.

Neo. The sheer greatness that is Neo completely overshadows the entirety of that volume's flaws. The series really does start to become good in a non ironic way in season 3.

However, despite assurances from Faunus-friendly members of the Vacuan Council that whatever problems came as a result would die down as they had before, the Faunus were soon forced out of the city. At which point one of them said to the others, "Why don't we force our way back in?"
Thus began the Faunus Wars.

Oh don't get me wrong, I would like seeing the characters grow older and become adults along with the changes they undergo during that time. But I kinda doubt about the quality staying good over time. Never mind that M&K take a view that sometimes makes it seem like they think certain things are icky and they don't want to touch it. Like could you imagine them actually trying a real romance plot of any kind that isn't shit?
