Ending was really mediocre. Not bad, but just eh.
That's the way a lot of the plot threads in LOST end actually. A lot of really good buildup with little payoff. Flash-Sideways' were a stupid idea too. The time travel in general was alright. I miss it.

That was a problem, but honestly, the episode where Jin fucks that one dude up for his boss(?) is one of my favorite backstory moments of any series. Been a good number of years though so I'm probably romanticizing it. Community seemed alright with it too.

What Lost did was already done in a show back in the 80s. Look up something called "Legend of the Galactic Heroes." If you choose to watch it, be prepared for greatness.
