No. The Jedi should have kiled Sheev in Episode 3 thus stopping the sith cycle, saving the galaxy from horrid corruption and establish a strong Jedi council as peace keeping force on a galactic scale.

They should've gone after Sheev and Anakin together. Sheev is good at spnning but he would've stood no chance against Obi-Wan's mastery of the high ground
