Alan Partridge is basically a British version of Curb Your Enthusiasm, except being rich, successful, generally well respected and with a hot wife, the protagonist is a complete loser who you'll find yourself feeling embarrassed for many times. Give it a watch, I've seen it many times over the years and it still has me in hysterics.
