Was this the best casting ever?

Perhaps.
Assuming Jackson doesn't count as Nick Fury, then yes. Gary Oldman as Gordon comes close though
>>72002696
Oh most definitely. With the sole exception of Harrison Ford as Han Solo.

Not quite my tempo, namsayin?
Almost the whole cast of Lotr
>>72002696
perhaps not as inspired but still

Bryan Cranston would make a better Gordon
Also I'm biased since I think Cranston makes a good VA for Gordon

Pretty much.
Should have given him his own trilogy.
Three movies about real, hard hitting journalism and sending Parker out to get pictures of super heroes for the trash sections of the paper (like 5 minutes of film time each movie, tops..)
Focus on the news, ignore the super weirdos (show them in the background of scenes, out of focus, flying, fighting, fuckin around...).
Would have been gold.

Does Jackson even count? Ultimate Fury was based on Jackson to begin with, why would they choose anyone else?

I'm surprisingly okay with this.
No one will ever be as good of a JJJ as J.K. Simmons.
