Literally the whole point of Tiago as a villain was that he was M's previous golden boy, he was as good as/if not better than Bond, he represented a different way Bond could have been under different circumstances (M betrayed Tiago and he ended up in prison).
So, basically, it was a question of "Can Bond protect people from Bond?" which is like the "Can God create a rock so heavy he can't lift it?" question, and, besides, Tiago had the manpower/resources advantage when killing both Severine and M.
So Bond couldn't protect people, under adverse circumstances, from someone who was just as good as him.... That gives us literally NO information about how he would do against these other people. At least no more information than we had before.
Basically all we know from that is that Bond is not better than Bond.
The fact is Bond IS the best pick in OP's selection, because, like Ethan, he does big godlike stunts, but unlike Ethan, he does them easily/casually, as if he's not really under strain.
The other operators are more gritty and realistic than Ethan/Bond, but in a 5 v 1 scenario, that means they will fail.
Bond would protect you by shooting his PP7 at a train which would then derail off a cliff onto an helicopter which would spin out and crash into an oil depot causing a flash fire that would confuse a laser-armed satellite into frying the other operators from orbit.
Against those other 5, that kind of James Bond ridiculousness is your only hope.
Depends on which Bond. Connery, Moore and Brosnan have GOAT plot armour whereas Daniel Craig is an angsty dickbag who'd probably let me die before the opening credits even rolled.
