How do we fix this mess of reddit filth being associated with /tv/?

>2011
While this is a 2011 list i imagine a 2016 one wouldn't even look that different
But the fact that this was made in 2011 proves that /tv/ was always shit and its literally beyond saving

Okay just to clarify: These are "good" movies but having them in your top ten (probably with the exception of 2001) is disgraceful, right?

It would be worse

>/tv/ thinks Pulp Fiction is the greatest film ever made
Fucking hell lads

Theres nothing really inherently wrong with any of those films, but for a board dedicated to film discussion its a very weak, clueless and safe effort. That top 200 or so is the same "acclaimed" movies that everyone knows and has seen and frequently are listen on every top 10 list on the internet. i've seen people condemn these kind of safe lists on /tv/ all the time and yet /tv/s list is the safest thing ive ever seen beyond IMDBs top 250.

Lists like this are going to be inherently skewed toward the more popular, crowd-pleasing films. The deeper you get into film the more likely your favorites are going to lean toward obscure and niche-oriented picks, reducing the likelihood of other people voting for them because they have their own separate niche-oriented picks they vote for themselves. The issue is inherent in the voting process, not necessarily with the voters.
