Any of you guys actually watched some episodes of this?
I just hated it from seeing some random episodes and stuff on the internet.
I recently started watching television a lot more and this shit is on all the times. Season 1 and 2 are not that bad. Of course it's not a good show, but compared to like two and a half men or 2 broke girls is comedy gold. Seeing what direction the show took after that makes you hate it even more.
Every character is a parody of himself. Sheldon is not an autistic asshole anymore, he's just a fucking clown. Most things he does now are completely contradictory to his supposed character. Also it's basically a relationship drama now. The first episodes have some genuinely funny moments, even though rare, but what horrifies me most is that is got really popular after they took even the hint of quality they had out and replaced that with generic soap opera crap

I do too, and for the longest time I was convinced the producers didn't see it that way either.
Until of course we ran into Raj's newest girl, who was uncomfortably genre savvy and outright called out the gang as enabling Sheldon's shitty behavior by always, ALWAYS letting him have his way.
And then we ran into Penny's old boyfriend in one episode and he consistently tore the gang apart on everything from Leonard's relationship to the Jew's absurd hope their missile guidance system wouldn't be used for missiles.
