I'm not sure how I feel about John's Vampires. The book was so fucking good (best vamp book after The Journal of Edwin Underhill), but the movie is totally (Halloween pun) different. The only thing in common with the book is the name of a few characters.
Hated it on a first watch, liked it on a sceond watch. I guess a 3rd watch wouldn't hurt now that time has passed. I'm sure I'll be able to view it has it's own thing now.
