You are better off renting, but Buffet is such a jew with his money. At his worth, he might as well pony up some of it to fix up his home a little more.
>>
>>71930663
The last one has to be an error, because no one take a % of the profit due to Hollywood accounting. They take a % of the front end.

Buffet is worth over 60 billion dollars and still lives in the same home he bought for $31,000 (almost 260,000 adjusted for inflation) 52 years ago.

Nigga even regrets spending that. How Jew can you be? What's the point of earning all that money and not spending any on yourself?
>>
>>71931341
it's been a gigantic machine of merchandising since the 80s and Jim Davis has been getting a huge piece of that. He did everything possible to ensure that Garfield is a brand and stays that way.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I invented the Navy Seal pasta and I'm fucking homeless. If it weren't for ebt, I'd never eat. I can't bring myself to beg, so I'm pretty muched fucked because working is impossible for me now. All 'memes' aside (Goddamn I hate that stupid fucking word), I have killed at least a dozen people for my country, and probably closer to a score.

To top it off, I was halfway through writing a screenplay centered on domestic terrorism where the final act consisted of a bogus 911 call about an active shooter in a shopping mall led to the police setting up a perimeter and getting picked off from behind by a sniper. There's two years of my life down the drain; doesn't seem quite so original now.

I suppose what I'm saying is that in my next life I'll just draw comics with a sarcastic overwieght cat. Jim Davis: American hero. He deserves every penny. Fuck my life.

>What's the point of earning all that money and not spending any on yourself?
To use it against everyone around you and constantly leverage the size of your bank account for more influence and power for the small things like making people name their babies after you, to excommunicating people you don't like from the family by making parents you don't care for disown their own annoying children.
>>

Shows how little you know

Cost per hour operated is typically $3700, and then you have fixed costs on top of that such as crews, insurance, hangaring, etc.
>>
>>71934073
Is there anything saying he doesn't then lease the thing out for others to use, ala AirBnB?
>>
>>71934073
From what my commercial and private pilot friends have told me over the years if you're paying 15mil per year for hanger fees and a pilot on retainer and spare parts, even for a G5, you are getting ripped off.

>59 million
>so rich

In Hollywood this is chump change. For all of Jim's fame he should be worth a lot more.

Tina Fey is worth $45 million for comparison.

Jerry Seinfeld is worth over $800 million.

Eddie Murphy, one of Jim's rivals at the box office, is worth $85 million.
>>
>>71934242
he bought a plane worth 59 million you literate
>>
>>71934242
That is not his net worth, though, its what he spend on that plane, his net worth is closer to 200M.
>>
>>71930264
Blockbuster comedy actors are the highest paid in Hollywood. Jim carrey was one once.
>>
>>71932815
If you can prove you wrote that pasta you can copyright it and if is being included in any works you can get money from it. You could literally just make a video on youtube of some tough guy reading it and live off of the ad revenue for years. You'd have the only video of it because of copyright claims.
>>
>>71934187
You can do that, but a lot of the costs are still shouldered by you eg insurance, maintenance, hangar fees. Most celebrities and wealthy people will just charter one on demand because it's much cheaper even ignoring the price of buying the plane.

>>71934207
>15mil being ripped off
Yes unless your private jet is something obnoxious like an a380. Variable cost I gave was for a G650.

>>
>>71934882
>He really is one of those guys who you don't realize his wild success until close inspection

You must be young anon.

Carrey was a megastar in the 90s, and my mom watched shit like Inside Edition. I actually remember the hubbub made when Carrey was paid $20m for The Cable Guy, because I think it was a record in 1996, highest paid actor at the time.

Funny, considering it's one of his lesser movies, critically.
>>
>>71934454
Syndication would be part of it. Re-runs of Seinfeld still play all the time in many countries. That's how the Get Smart guy got rich.

They all rent because that way they're kept on a leash. You fucked up? No problem, we'll just take that $40mil mansion away from you until you stop pulling the chain.

Still persistent? Then we'll drag your name through the dirt on social media and you'll never have a job I'm the entertainment industry ever again.

Still fucking around? We'll stop your children from achieving any ounce of success too just so your family name doesn't carry on in the mainstream consciousness.
