Why is /tv/ acting like Rotten Tomatoes is "suddenly" a biased review source?

I watched Gilmore girls and would happily do so again, it's comfy and I had several great wanks to it.
People keep telling me Bridesmaids and Spy were good so I looked up a clip of Spy to judge for myself and got this:

Besides not being funny:
1. The man bashing is pathetic.
2. It looks like they just got McCarthy to read the writer's one liners off a cue card. It's come across as very manufactured and some of the laziest directing I've ever seen.
3, Melissa McCarthy can't act. She can barely speak out the lines without struggling to breathe.
This was a completely unenjoyable experience for my and yet it has over 40,000 likes. Probably by people who have never seen a comedy before.
