It is objectively the best show on television.
It's an amusing TV show that would work better without Dan Harmon's bullshit. Some people, especially ones that started off publishing their work online, are much funnier outside of the constraints of a traditional sitcom formula. I mean, just look at Brad Neely's newest show vs China, IL. China, IL was amusing, but his hands were tied by the narrative format, and Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio is a lot funnier because it doesn't have a narrative format.
Everything up to Rick Potion #9, is excellent, excellent television
The rest of Season One is more or less mediocre
The first two episodes of season 2 pick things up again, and everything after that is terrible.

It's mostly bearable brainless adult cartoon fare, although the improv segments are unbelievably cringeworthy.
