Civil War is how you do great movie pacing. The problem with BvS is that it didnt know who its audience was. Science Kinography people or those who wanted to see Batman and Superman fight?
The reason it got so much hatred is because there was way too much Lex mythology dialogue instead of getting straight to the point of B fighting S which is why majority went to the cinemas to see that.
