saw it with my first gf, it's formulaic but it's stylized in a unique way. Decent cinematography, the fairy tale theming is cliche but still adds something to the movie, and the soundtrack is fucking great. Think about if refn tried to make a bourne identity movie.

It's alright, could have been better if they showed more action scenes with Saoirse in them. Mostly just a slightly artfag hipster coming of age story that doesn't quite work and has some lame fight choreography. Decent acting and some good writing though

Pretty good movie. The soundtrack was fitting and the visuals were alright. The lame hollywood plot of supersoldier gaining human emotions was pretty wrote even at the time, though.
