It's a pretty bad film. /tv/ only worships it because they're impressed by the premise and aesthetic, which is derived from the source material instead of Snyder's "talent".

"Watchmen" is a phenomenal graphic novel.
"Watchmen (2008)" is a low-mediocre film.
