Anyway Cranston has proven after Godzilla that he really is a hack and Breaking Bad was extremely overrated.
The movie is a concept sounds great, these designs look terrible. Power Rangers has always had the potential to be really good if it was just a bit more serious, not saying realistic but overall a few notches more dramatic and less rubber suits. So if this movie doesn't give it a Batman v Superman treatment but still makes it a bit more dramatic while retaining the themes, action, and overall tone it will be cool.

I recently watched the first season through In Space on Netflix and other than a cool nostalgia trip, I wish I hadn't. It's such a bad show. I mean, it was what it was and I loved it as a kid, but it honestly is a poorly mad show that was more interested in turning a profit than investing in something that is watchable past 10 years old.

Samurai sucks but both Megaforce seasons have a lot of the charm of the original series and a lot of throwbacks. Weapons were super OP and the monster designs were really cool except for the shit mutants. Plus imo it has the 2 hottest female Rangers in the series and I especially like the Megaforce season 1 costumes. I get why some fans think they're a step back for for me they were cool. Same here. I hadn't watched it in years and found out about the Megaforce season and the anniversary and whatnot. Loved that the designs, like you said, lacked a gimmick or animal inspiration. Apparently the Megaforce sentai was Angel themed and then the Super Megaforce was the Pirate theme, haha. Still cool looking and it was fun to see them trading weapons and double fisting handguns. Mighty Morphin is classic but right now, Megaforce is hands down my favorite design.
