I'm only basing this on what I've seen while skimming the threads. It seems that posts attacking the movie are very short while those defending it are often paragraphs long and incredibly intricate, often resorting to insulting attackers intelligence. It certainly seems, at least at a glance, that defenders have a higher personal stake in the discussion.
to be honest the fact that people are so vehemently defending the movie is the one thing that's got me interested in watching it.
