The trailer was great, but the movie.. cucked by /tv/ again!
I was really engaged until the flashback sequence. After that I entered Under the Skin-mode where I just wanted the fuck out because they'd shown me they could be disturbing and I didn't want it to happen again.
Really well made film though, I'm very interested to see what the director does next.

Beyond the Black Rainbow gives a filmmaker like me hope that I too can sell my own experimental trash to idiots like OP and they'll eat it up on account of it being trippy. You don't even have to put much thought into the substance of it all when other idiots will project their own analysis and interpretations and do the work practically for you.
