It's difficult for me to do a top ten list... I'm pretty certain on the top 3 though:

1. The Shining
2. American Psycho
3. A Clockwork Orange

Other movies I enjoyed includes Donnie Darko, Shutter Island, SAW, Rear Window.

Forgot Misery. I would rank Misery either 3 or 4. This is the problem when I try to do lists, I forget about movies I love. Everyone in the world should see Misery, I've made my friends reluctantly see it and afterwards they all agree how amazing it is. What a film!

And furthermore there is literally nothing wrong with any of the movies you listed. I personally don't like SAW, but I am aware of its place in the history of cinema.
