I just finished watching Breaking Bad on Netflix today. By God, that was one of the greatest shows ever created. It was a complete masterpiece, start to finish, with a strong, sad-yet-fuffiling end. Why can't every show be as good as this?
>>
U need to b 18 to post here fuccboi :)
>>
it is a great show but it is also reddit

Why did all the characters go around wearing jackets or other such warm clothes when Albuquerque is a very warm place?

I don't know if this is bait or not because I unironically enjoyed breaking bad quite a lot, it was really entertaining and better than I expected

It's a refreshing change from my friends continuously circle-jerking about how The Wire is the ultimate apex of what television can ever achieve

BrBa was amazing and the only show that I found that comes close is GoT

I'm not even b8ing
>>
>>71671635
I live in abq and it's not as warm during the fall and winter.

>I found that comes close is GoT

Came, anon. It came close.

GoT series 1/2/3 were art.

5 and 6 have been... ehhhhhhhhhh

Calm down sonny jim, calm down!
Someone give a glass of milk to this little fella!

It's more of a dry heat so it doesn't feel as hot unlike here in Texas with the humidity
>>
>>71672022
I just recently picked up GoT and marathoned season's 1 through 5 in about 2 weeks

I found it pretty fulfilling but not as much as BrBa
>>
I couldn't sit through the 2nd episode
fuck this show

Literally 9gag: the opinion
>>
>>71671335
Don't you know? If the normies like it, we have to hate it. No matter if its good.

and it is

Okay, but am I the only one who finds a lot of the early seasons really boring? Like, there are god-tier episodes throughout, but I feel like the only time it's really consistently gripping is later parts of Season 4 through the end of the series

Mediocre series loved by plebs
>>
>>71672238
>breaking bad is good
it's terrible mediocre, pleb
>>
>>71673161
why is it terrible, friend?

Would you be happier if 9gag and Reddit didn't like it?
>>
>>71673316
terribly*, sorry

And no, I don't give a single shit about those sites, why do you lot always bring it up?
>>
>>71673643
>why do you lot always bring it up?

Its just that its interesting how its always movies and shows those guys like that we usually hate. Granted, they tend to go overboard and its annoying, but they're still good shows.

Now you might be one of those few special snowflakes that don't like it. My question is simple, why do you think its terribly mediocre?
>>
>>71673643
because fans of BB accuse anyone who doesn't like it of feeling that way only because it's popular. It's like some sort of mutation of argumentum ad populum
>>
>>71673781
Maybe it's just not my show. Along with the fact that it is so massively over-hyped. I also really don't like Aaron Paul's performance. His voice is really annoying
>>
>>71673927
Fuck, you can't form an argument for shit don't you
Not even the guy you're replying to.
>>
>>71673781
I'll field this one. Overuse of cliffhangers, too much melodrama involving Walt's family, ridiculous coincidences lazily used to move the story forward.

Also, personally, the very concept of the show doesn't intrigue me at all, which is a hard hurdle to get over. The only reason I was able to watch all of it is because two of my friends wouldn't leave me alone until I did.
>>
>>71671635
it snows there dumbshit

I have about as much respect for breaking bad as I do for the dogshit on my shoe. It is reddit. It is video game hotpocket. It is capeshit. It is cheeto dust. I'm literally screaming right now and slamming my arms down on my desk just thinking about it.

It is the most depraved video game infantilized manchild degeneracy. It is saturday morning cartoon. It is non-neurotypicality. It is memes. It is video game. It is tarantino. It is imdb.
>>
>>71672288
Thats why I cant talk about breaking bad here. Fucking /tv/
>>
>>71674165
There is only one cliffhanger in the series. (end of season 3)
>>
>>71674165
what ridiculous coincidences ruined it for you? The only thing I can think of is the plane crash
>>
>>71674382
It's been a while but I remember many episodes having cliffhangers. I could be getting it confused though
>>
You may be memeing but I agree entirely
>>
>>
>>71674439
I can't remember any specifics,. I just remember thinking that while marathoning it

The main thing is that I just didn't find the story very engaging. I liked the humor but hated the drama
>>
>>71673927
>>71673927
aaron paul's performace was ok. It wasn't great nor terrible. It was just ok.

But you can't just judge a show on that single aspect. Bryan Cranston's performance was enough to carry the show if we're gonna go by that single aspect then.

>>71674165
>Coincidences

If there's one thing I hate in movies or shows are miraculou coincidences.
Breaking Bad however, doesn't have many. In fact that whole plane thing and Walt running into Jane's dad in a bar is a bit far fetched but not impossible to happen. The rest have perfectly good reasons behind them.
>>
>>71671894
You're friends probably consider you the designated pleb of the group anon. They probably talk mad shit about you when they hang out without you.
>>
Breaking Bad actually broke from and improved upon the "Sopranos-formula" for drama that has dominated television. Edgy kids love that shit though.
>>
>>71671478
Probably the only thing that is pure 4chan, never ever discussed on a huge site like reddit would be illegal pornography bro.
