It wasn't horrible, it wasn't a masterpiece either. Just a decent action/fantasy movie. Probably Jones' cut would have been amazing. Those 20 minutes cut from BvS ended up making a huge difference, I imagine the 40mins cut for the theatrical cut fucked up the movie.

The movie would've been fine if it didn't try to pander to WoW fags and Metzen's shitty "There are heroes on both sides" mentality. If they stuck to Last Guardian, we would have a nice, comfy movie with a clear progression and escalation of the plot. But that would mean:

First half of 1 was great. Atmosphere was just right. Humor was right. They even did the singing from the book well.

I found Warcraft so bad i was laughing openly by the time the credits rolled. All the WoW nerds were staring at my friends and I as we laughed our asses off at that CGI shitfest. That being said though I will go see the sequels because it was entertaining it was so awful.

The movie's best parts were the few small character scenes.
Do you guys think an extended cut exists, or the movie is literally just like that. Like was it the editing after the fact or the writing itself that made it so disjointed, it just bounces around from scene to scene without any sense of coherency as a whole. I'm inclined to think it was just poorly written because they tried to put too much in the movie and fucked up the pacing horribly, but if there is an extended edition I imagine it would smooth it out somewhat.

There are several shots and even footage from comic con that weren't present in the movie.
Plus you could kinda tell where some of the cuts were because some scenes wouldn't really transition, it would just be a hard cut to another scene.
