'Disney' aren't any typical studio. They are a massively conglomerated monopoly who simply buy the competition and integrate them into Disney's goals.
They are the fuckin Borg of the entertainment world.

They're an international conglomerate that has multiple smaller studios under their companies umbrella outside of just Buena Vista Pictures. That and they have a massive amount of operating capital from the meat and potatoes of their profits, that being the theme parks. They make ass tons of money on a daily, hourly basis worldwide. A 'slow day' at just one Disney park at Walt Disney World is at least 20,000 people in the park.
