i met a client about a year ago. he was obviously in his 70s, but had jet black hair and was wearing a little makeup. i had to keep a straight face. he was very nice, but man, there's a limit to what you can pull off. once you're past 50, i think it's better to just lay off the dye and surgery. you're not fooling anyone.
