>Added CGI rocks
What did Lucas mean by this?
how did het get there?
>>71409471
He thought Artoo wasn't well hidden from DANGER.
>>71409471
>CGI rocks!
>>71409471
how did he get in there?
NO WAIT
How did he get out of there?
Out of all the additions this one is by far one of the least offensive. Why do people give this much of a shit about it? Does it really rustle their semen-caked panties so much?
>>71409761
What's the point of this addition? It's a change for the sake of it
>>71409761
It's the least offensive but also the most pointless.
The guy just had to tinker with every fucking thing.
>>71409761
how the fuck did R2 get in there?
>>71409887
You have NO idea what he wanted the film to look like in the first place. Maybe that was on the original storyboard for all we know. A Change for Change's sake is not pretentious. It obviously wasn't adding symbolic depth that failed, it was just changing the ambience.

>>71410355
Yeah well, it still looked fucking stupid so your point is moot.
>>71410355
Yeah but the cynical re-release and re-packaging, make it an obvious money grab, and not really some artistic fulfillment of Lucas's original vision
>>71409471
It wasn't dense enough, so he made it more dense

The technology to add more rocks just wasn't available in the 70s, man. More rocks was his vision.
>>71410658
i actually lold
>>71410355
I always wanted imaginary rocks. The key is imaginary rocks.
