seen batman v superman 3 times because it was always intriguing and interesting it always felt like there were things i missed. i pre-ordered the ultimate cut.

I quite like some of the marvel films, but this was poor. Felt like a two hour trailer for the next installment. For the sake of a Civil War there were no high stakes and a damp squib ending

But all of them are divided in every movie, then they get their shit kicked in, then someone who is not a superhero tells them some story how the real heroes are small people working hard TOGETHER (zoom in, play dramatic music) to make it every day, then they realize the hidden secret of teamwork, then they defeat the, mostly stupidly overpowered, boss.
Of course all of them are nerfed/buffed so they can appear equally strong thus completely throwing their individual comics/series in the trash.
At the end some average CGI battle ensues because what idiot would spend money on great battles and effects when you can still count on marketing tricks from the 60's, which are based on basic psychology, to work.
And that's every marvel movie. No character arcs, no development.
