I feel so bad for people who just flat out refuse to watch The Leftovers cause of Lindelof. I know it gets said in every thread, but to anyone who hasn't watched it, it's literally the best show on television right now. Reserve all judgment, take everything for surface value, don't ask question, don't expect answers, just... experience it.

Personally that S2 finale is perfect as it is, everybody is happy and whole, only one missing was dogbro but he had his own place to be.

i kinda like the show but i feel like many of the emotional scenes are forced. like theres at least one time in every episode where the characters just look at each other tearing up with violin music blasting and i'm just sitting not feeling anything. like i never got to know the people the characters lost so it's hard for me not to be apathetic. maybe it's just my autism
also why don't the authorities do anything about the guilty remnant? they are organised to disrupt public peace, and by the end of season 2 they are practically a terrorist group
Binge watched both series in the last 2 weeks, fucking loved the show. Kevin might be my favourite lead character in a show, International Assassin especially was a masterpiece.

nice timing, just finished watching this series. I enjoy season 1 far more because it had more events and focused more about what the world turned into and how the people were struggling with it.
Got to give it to them though that even some scene as ridiculous as it sounds, like the karaoke scene, can turn into the most heartbreaking moment.
