Yes. This and Days of Heaven are classic '70s cinema.
It's okay, but it's kind of obvious they just kind of made it up as they went along. The story just wanders everywhere and there are a lot of scenes that have literally nothing to do with the rest of the movie. It's mostly good for the cinematography.
I saw pierrot le feu recently and it reminded me of badlands a lot
