why is this never discussed ? it is pure unfiltered kino
We talk about it quite often though. It's well loved here.
nah it's shit

I guess I just see sopranos and the wire getting more love when Oz was the OG 1 hour cable drama
>>71149319
well those shows did it better desu
>prison where they've made a whole cellblock with clear plastic walls so nothing can be hidden
>doesn't have cameras in the hallway everyone gets shanked in, or the store-rooms everyone deals drugs and gets raped in
>just lets inmates walk around however they please in said corridors and store-rooms

IT started good, but then it turned into a gay soap opera.
It literally turned into soft gay porn
>>71149401
>gay rape from episode one
It was a literally gay soap opera from the start, but it lost some steam towards the end. BrBa did the same imo, lost its humour and many of its side plots and characters acted like fucking retards for a lot of the show, but I think Oz was worse for it. I liked all the dead characters narrating season 6 though, that was a cool wrap upaging pills
o'reilly has some of the worst plot armor ever
it becomes literally unwatchable after a while
>>71149238
Aged like milk. It looks terrible.
>>71149238
Oh boy, you start watching this thinking "yeah man this is prison, it's fucking rough and these men rough and violent so of course they rape the weak ones."
Then the raping turns into making out and making love and it's basically all that ever happens and you realize that you're embarassed to watch when other people are present.

The only thing better than this was when Seinfeld showed up.
Why did the witch keep a bucket of water next to her?

Luck of the Irish, brother.
Salinger?
Skellinger?
Skillinger?
Shellinger?
Scullyinger?
>>71149564
O'Rielly is one of the many reasons I stopped watching the show.
Its plotline are so ridiculous and stupid. How many episodes are just
>new guy comes to Oz, makes friend/enemy
>new guy is killed
>usually O'rielly is involved
>rinse and repeat
How after all these years no one decides to just Kill O'Rielly baffles me. He's also a terrible actor, and the whole plot line where he kills the nurse's husband or whatever cause he loves her is plain retarded and cringeworthy.
OMAR WHITE did nothing wrong
>>71149335
those shows wouldn't exist were it not for Oz paving the way.
OG is a very appropriate way to describe it
CLANG

he was the "that kid" of oz
I been to jail. My friend told me to watch OZ to be prepared for my stay in jail. Turns out they beat up faggots for fun. I literally learned to suck dick for no reason.
>>71150587
>you'll never be able to keep a tiny hat on your head like Adebisi
ITT the protagonist of the last tv show you've watched is going to OZ. How does he do in there? How long does he last?
Ok /tv/, you're about to get sent to Federal Prison for some crime you didn't commit. You know you'll never survive alone.
Who do you pledge loyalty to?
Adebisi? Schillinger? O'Reilly? The Italians? The Mexicans?
>>71149401
So it started good and ended better?
>>71150705
desu I'll probably end up like that french dude, except with a more boring and pathetic death
>>71150687
>Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares
It'd be a watchable version of Gordon Behind Bars.
>>71150687
>Agent Dale Cooper
Shanked for being a Narc
>>71149401
>>71149535
Adon't drop thesoap opera.
>that time that skinhead shaved his gums off with a razorblade
>>71150705
Rebadow/Busmalis.
>>71150705
none, i'd become friends with bousmalis and rebadow and watch ms sally's schoolyard all day.
>>71150687
>Tony Soprano
I think he'd do pretty well behind bars. Maybe even lose some weight.
>>71150809
You'd figure having your dick bit off would be the most fucked up thing you'd see a character go through, but they managed to up it.
>>71150687
> Micheal from the Office
I don't think him and his antics will last long
> looks at the camera before being raped
>>71149238
Why isn't there an acceptable rip of this show out there on normie trackers?
>>71151362
