The Dead ones, and Jon's enemies (glovers, maybe remnants of umber/bolton armies, etc.. ).
There's literally no one who gives a fuck about Jon anymore, and there's a few thousand men who (under LF) gives a fuck about Sansa.
The loyalty of 50 people who liked Ned stark doesn't decide who rules.
Men decide who rules.

No, but given that Jon wrote letters to everyone to get support, I would say that everyone who was willing to fight to sit Jon in Winterfell was at that battle.
Are you implying that there's some 25k northmen who didn't follow jon against a Bolton but will suddenly ride to Winterfell to follow Jon against LF if he push Sansa against him?
The northmen who weren't at that battle either didn't care about Jon, or were not fighting men.

Problem with that is while they help give Sansa greater claim, they can't cement it.
The VAle is a foreign army, they're not gonna stay in the North, and while they know how to fight in ice and snow, they don't know how to live and survive in the North, so not like Sansa can keep them as a standing army or a constant threat to keep the Northern Lords under control.
Not to mention the Vale army is just there to help Sansa beat the Boltons

So why can't Jon save Rickon? Because Ramsay has to be some kind of supreme evil who cannot be defeated. It's not enough that he's destroyed Theon, abused Sansa, and killed his father.
