Let's think about the motivation (business or otherwise) for Patrick Stewart's character.
What the fuck is he doing hosting a bunch a party bois playing punk rock in the middle of nowhere.
As someone who has lived in rural Oregon, it's just comical. Some (((east coast))) director made a neo-nazi horror porn by slamming together a bunch of cliche things (red shoelaces).
It's just silly. Sure there are some casually interesting suspenseful moments but every one of those jump characters reminds of the goofs in Prometheus.
