Friendly reminder The Two Towers had like 5 fake hero-death cliches. Friendly reminder Legolas was a Superman-like character. Friendly reminder Nazgul are terrible searchers who always give away their positions. Friendly reminder LOTR was a heavily cliched trilogy and it was just one of those "good for what it is" flicks. Nothing wrong with that, though, but it's not some kind of masterpiece.
