Orcs move North. Divide forces to fight the Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas, Doomhammer btfo by Alliance at Capital City, retreat, Gul'dan orders Doomhammer to hold Blackrock spire, prevent humans from following behind the dark portal.

Illidan is jealous and disturbed so Demons see an opportunity to break up the Night Elves power by exploiting Illidan and says how to impress Tyrande with power which convinces Illidan to steal the Demon Soul to become the most powerful Night Elf and kill Malfurion to be King. Illidan has a Kung Fu quest for Demon Soul. We cut out Mannoroth to streamline it and so Illidan meets Sargeras instead. Az'Shara optional. They might not even want Naga in these movies because of the Nigga jokes. Sargeras at the end of this scene burns out Illidans eyes and gives him tattoos and new arcane sight so hes like Daredevil now.
So, Illidan makes it to the top of Mount Hyjal on his quest and pours vials of liquid from Well of Eternity into this lake which corrupts it all, Malfurion sees this and can't believe his brother would do such evil deeds and have a sick Kung-Fu vs. Magic battle with spinning warglaives and dope Druidic magic. Eventually Malfurion wins and Illidan is captured inside a prison for 10000 years.

Act II (second hour)
Gul'Dan licks his wounds after losing at the Dark Portal and vows to find a way. We go into him turning Stormwind soldiers and his own people mixed together into Death Knights. This is lame but would cut out an hour of exposition of the experimentation and failure stage.
Anduin Lothar goes out to sea to stop Horde invasions by sea alongside a new character Turalyon. High Elves join the fight too to repay their debts. Eventually leading to an epic battle where Lothar dies at Assault on Blackrock Spire.
Act III
Gul'Dan also has his own troubles as he is now on his own story arc, with his plot to find Ultimate Fel Power inside the Tomb of Sargeras the demon referenced in the Night Elf story. This ends up betraying Doomhammer who was about to give perhaps a finishing blow to the grieving Humans as Gul'Dan suddenly takes his forces to go to the Tomb. Doomhammer dies. Gul'Dans forces discover the entire Tomb is covered with Demons and they slay Gul'Dan! However before Demons can take his Skull the Night Elves led by Maiev Shadowsong have a plan to stop them and Maiev takes his insanely powerful Skull in a cunning Heist with some other cool looking Chinese Elves. This ties into Warcraft III: Burning Legion as Illidan would eventually break free and take the skull becoming the powerful character we know and love.
Ending = Orcs and Humans cripples and Demons set to rise...

Did you pay attention to the movie? They brought only the leftovers after they sure defense was intact, which was only a very small fraction of the army. Their logic was that if Medivh pulls his weight then it was alright with just that.
