Should I watch all the films mentioned in these before reading them?
I think if you have any experience with modern "art" films you'll understand the ideas without knowing the exact references
I only have a cursory knowledge of Deleuze but you see his ideas in everything
Start simple than deleuze if you have to ask.

I watch the movie afterwards if I hadn't already seen it, and possibly go back and re-read the relevant sections again after.
