Favorite movie: Goldeneye. It's the best fusion of classic Bond convention and modern action sensibility.
Favorite Bond: Dalton. A darker, more menacing and vaguely self-loathing Bond before Craig made all of these things "cool" to audiences.

Dalton or Brosnan; I feel terrible that Brosnan never got anything as good as GoldenEye or better during his run.

Moore easily.
Dalton>Connery>Brosnan>Lazenby=Craig>>>>Moore
Dalton nailed the tone from the books while still being cinematic and dark like everyone gives Craig credit for.
Connery is of course a classic, dated? Probably. But he's what most everyone thinks of when they think of Bond.
Brosnan was great, damn shame all he has to his name is Goldeneye, because he would have been terrific in other films.
Lazenby is highly underrated, give him another film or two and he would have fit the role like a glove.
Craig is fine, nothing extraordinary, I like how he does his stunts and seems extremely involved in the action. But he's forgettable as Bond.
Moore is a clown.

I knew a guy who used to go skiing in the Alps with a nephew or cousin of Moore's and met him a few times.

I don't think Bond would have a favorite movie. Maybe a favorite play. He would be too busy killing niggas and getting a handjo from a soon to be widow to follow plotlines.
