Im not sure about the hate part but Merchant is dating women way out of his league and is going to be in the next Wolverine movie - so a major blockbuster movie, Ricky is still making movies and television shows and therefore is still finding success, and Karl has been starring in Moaning of Life and writing more books. Id say they are all doing fine.
