In the original story Draka and Durotan were banished by Gul'dan during the first war and the frostwolf clan established himself in Alterac Valley. They were then murdered by some Gul'dan spies/assassin and Thrall was found in the amongst the bodies by an human commander of the internment camps of Durnhold.

Judging orcs by Durotan is like judging the North by Ned Stark. Orcs do seem to have a strict warrior code, but if something is not covered by it, it's free for all. Most of them evidently have no qualms about killing women, children and prisoners.
Garona slays the king in battle, so the formal conditions are satisfied and she gets acclaim and protection by the laws (which saves her from imminent death). She achieves it (as the orcs see it) by cunning, but it's not a ritual one-on-one battle, so I don't see a problem here.
Also I don't think that Gul'dan particularly trusts her. She's just a valuable asset for him.

Sadly not, this whole movie was staffed by 13yr old fan fiction writers. Entire movie is filled with nothing but sequel bait, almost close to 40% of the movie is just name dropping and the writers make it out that the alliance all hate each other, and they let the humans basically fall and still decided to take on the horde solo...
%25 of the film involves a pointless love story between orc goodie war chief and his sequel plot object wife all for setting up the next series of films, then it switches to a love plot with goodie chief and halfling orc that was only there as a translation/eveyones love interest plot point. The entire movie is just a dragging weight of poorly cast and written characters with awful personalities, and characters that sould mesh together somehow don't due to only having one dimensional personalities and ridged acting doesn't help.
God I hate this movie's writing team.
Did they even explain why Garona killed Llane? It wasn't to bring peace between Orcs and Humans, it was because she was a fucking agent/pawn of the Shadow Council.

He made a decision to try and help his people, the only decision that might help. Garona has shown that she sympathises with the humans. Perhaps by having a leading role within the Orcs, she can persuade them of peace with the humans.
Maybe it is retarded, maybe it is unlikely to work. But what was the alternative? Let the big evil Orc kill him, gain even more credit amongst the Orcs and definitely go to war with the humans?
I would have liked them to develop the relationship a little more before this, but it's not that big of a deal.

The dialogue was utter bullshit, the scene transition was confusing but I'm basically one of those people that worship warcraft religiously and the thing that disappointed me the most was that this has nothing to do with the actual lore of the games, the backstories were fucked up so fucking badly, they got me mad. The effects were solid on the other hand, they were really something. Overall I must say it's far from a masterpiece but as a warcraft fanatic since childhood I enjoyed it, hell I enjoyed it more than fucking star wars, I really hope they make as sequel about the lore in warcraft 3 with fan favorite illidan and arthas.

Lane marched on the dark portal with his men in the hopes that the frostwolf clan would help them and they would be able to shut the portal. he didn't know the frostwolf clan was dead, and he didn't know medivh was going to betray him. they got there, went with the plan and stopped the portal from opening, which was the main goal. he then stood guarding the portal with his men while the capture citizens were evacuated, he saved as many people as he could, and allowed the portal to fully close. when he knew he was going to die, garona told him that blackhand was coming to kill him for the honour of killing an enemy chief. he knew he was going to die anyways so he told her to kill him so that she would be the one he gains the honour, and if they were lucky she could use that honour to sway the horde into making peace with the alliance.
the thing that amazes me about retards who hate movies just for hating movies, is you always miss the actual point of what you're insulting, and you don't know any of the facts about the movie you're watching. A few of my "I can't enjoy anything" friends were ripping on things that happened in the movie, and they didn't even know the lore behind it.
