No its shit
It got released shortly after Avatar. Avatar got praised and this one got panned.
In the end, they are the exact same type of film based on extremely clichéd hero journeys set on alien worlds. But John Carter had charm and Avatar just had a running time of over 180 minutes.
JC isn't great but it's way better than Avatar.

>shortly after
>3 years is shortly after
>>70816263
I don't agree that it's better than Avatar at all, that's a pretty loony and contrarian opinion. Avatar was much better directed structured, paced and Cameron is a lot more knowledgeable about live action directing than Stanton
But it was still overly shat on and better than yout typical MCU trash flick.

I actually liked this movie. That chick was hot as fuck too.
The Lone Ranger is the most underrated film of the past decade
>>70816345
Irony that the 3 worst reviewed Disney flicks of the last several years are actually the only good ones it's released.

>Is this one of the most underrated films of the past few years?
Yes. It's not perfect though. They should've cut back on the stuff about the Therns, staying a bit closer to the book's plot in the process.

honestly Lone Ranger is too based for our time
professors will be teaching about it in years to come
it and King of Cups are the most secret kino
but the greats are never recognized during their time
Edgar Allen Poe died on a park bench with syphilis after scamming voting centers for free booze around Baltimore

>>70816110
Its a shit movie.
I wanted to like it, but the pacing is bad, they didn't really do a good job at world building.
About all I did like was seeing Caesar and Antony together.
>>70816793
eh, I've made webms before and more interesting stuff, but it's still neat to see. no need to get asshurt about it
>>70816308
I never saw such a gorgeous woman, I wanted to rape her.
>>70816308
there's something eurasian about her
>>70816374
Hollywood = Jews
Walt Disney = Hated Jews
Jewwood doesn't approve of Disney anything.
Hell look at Mel Gibson.
>>70816308
Yeah, she's off the fucking charts.
It was a good movie but it got shit on by the Hollywood jews because it was too traditional and didn't have enough ungawa and grrl powah
>>70816308
>>70817559
She really is. She's fuckin dreamy. Would have made an awesome Wonder Woman.
>>70818304
even with no makeup...there's something otherworldly about her.
>Collins was born in Houston, Texas, and has English, Scottish, and Irish ancestry. She has also claimed to having some Cherokee ancestry, referring to herself as "Irish and Cherokee"

The cheekbones and hair.

>>70818706
I'm literally 25% Cherokee, my aunts and uncles are all half. They all have the cheekbones and the crazy horse-tail thick, coal black hair. Also, apparently we're all alcoholics.
>>70816110
I saw it last nite. It was pretty meh desu
>>70818304

>>70816110

Why would voting centers give him booze?
>>70818304
Gross! Maybe she should only exist in that film because she isn't rocking it in real life!
>>70819466
She wasnt even in john carter was she?
As a big fan of Princess of Mars, I loved it. They nailed so much of the spirit of the book that it didn't even bother me that Mars wasn't lush with pink and blue vegetation or that the green martians were manlets. That white ape was perfect.
I cheered a little when they faded in Of Mars under John Carter at the end. I'm not sure I'd have liked the movie as much if I didn't like the novella first though.
>>70819396
back in the day to encourage voting they gave you a pint if you voted
Poe, being the crafty alcoholic that he was, went around and voted like 18 times or something just wandering around Baltimore because they had no means to verify if you voted before
I loved this movie and wish they would pick up the series where they left off. Any word of them doing another one anytime soon?
>>70819502
Give out free beer and you'd get a nearly 100% voting stat these days.
>>70819503
I want moar!
>>70816308
goddamn was she hot in this
>>70819568
