I also got kinda hooked on GoT but I stopped watching because it's objectively bad. I thought I was broken inside, but actually most tv shows just plain suck. Probably the best TV-show I've seen in years. Great directing and cinematography with very strong mix of Dreyer/Fincher (idk but maybe even Soderbergh?), narrative was tight and interesting enough (and everyone who thinks the relevation was for the audience is a simpleton), at parts the writing goes bit too plebby 'plot progression for the sake of plot progression' type of wank but that was little part of it.
