I concur. It was just the right amount of surreal and dramatic. I found myself almost crying with the characters. And the final frw shots were sooo spooky.

Its just so amazing, somehow the scene where the principal tells the students about Laura's death always brings tears to my eyes. The music, the filming on location, the lack of producer's intervention, it's just was Lynch envisioned and nothing else.

i think the real question you want to ask OP is "who is best girl?"

My two favorite moments are "It's happening again" and the scene where Leland is dying in Dale's arms while the sprinkler system is just raining down on them. No other moment in TV, or movies for that matter, has ever felt so intense and emotional.
