I want to watch more movies. Should I watch the IMDB top 250 list or are there any better lists to go by?
start with the imdb top 250. most people will tell you to skip it, and while their reasoning (that it's mostly pleb garbage) is justified, it's also worthwhile to watch it just to see what it is that becomes popular. after that, you should move on to the Sight & Sound top 50, then They Shoot Pictures, Don't They?, or just start exploring directors that you like.

If you haven't already seen 90% of the IMDB top 250 I don't even know what to tell you, other than that you're a loser, or that your parents were losers for not allowing you to watch movies growing up.
