My sister loved this show, I thing is one of those series that you can only truly appreciate when you're a girl.

There is Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, Gumball, and Adventure Time (early) and Regular Show (early and apparently recent episodes), but that isn't saying much.
It's kind of an unfair comparison considering two of the three major children channels only churn out live action shit, unlike Japan, which makes a ton of anime. Also an unfair comparison because a lot of anime is for adults and there is only a handful of adult animated cartoons in the west.
