I cant ever get into the hype for these movies, they all feel kindof the same. I watch them months later and feel like I missed nothing when I finally watch them, theyre decent but I forget what happens in them soon after because they play everything so safe. Antman is the only one I took an active interest in because Edgar Wright was directing, but then he got cut, you can really tell where the studio had problems with what he was doing, the movie felt like a standalone movie separate from marvel but then there are crammed in scenes that tie it to the series, these were the things that Wright fought against.
The problem is that Marvel wont let directors make their own movie, it MUST tie into and st up future products over being its own movie with the directors vision, and I cant get behind such cynicism.

His character was a nice change from the standard marvel Quipster. He gave 0 fucks about their quipping and attempts at witty banter, and he straight up told them.
