Third, manpower. Russia had over ten million men in 1945. The generals had just defeated one of the strongest armies in the world. Their troops were combat experienced.
Fourth, the allies were battle exhausted. Yeah, they had a good chunk of men, but they would still need to be rotated out at a greater rate than the Soviets.
