If I had to guess, picking one character by movie, I'd say:
Starchild Dave > Jack Torrence > Alex DeLarge > Barry Lyndon > General Buck Turdigson (I don't know who'd be the protagonist, but he got more screentime in the movie) > Colonel Dax > Pvt. Joker > Spartacus > Dr. Harford > Humbert
