what the fuck? waaaay too high imo.
>>70537438
This deserves higher score. There are a TON of things that lazenby got right, and this movie has some of the best most classic bond moments in the franchise.
I think it also struck the best balance between realism and fantastical adventure.

Moore is funnier than all the other bonds. He has more wit, is less of a brute, etc etc.
Some people think that's not what bond should be, but I honestly think he added a lot to following characterizations.
Guess who's back!
Daniel Craig's are not james bond movies
>>70537768

>>70550134
It's a remake of Thunderball, and Fleming's shitty buddy's second attempt at making money off a drunk comment he made once at a party that convinced him Fleming owed him. Still, it was better than Octopussy that came out at the same time, and it underscored just how much everyone had missed Connery after years and fucking years of Moore.
>>70550259
calling everything you don't like Reddit is not the solution, it's basically the equivalent of downvoting.
>>70537438
Lazenby was by far more physical than Connery or most other Bonds except maybe Craig, and so the action scenes come across as much more dynamic. The movie does suffer from pacing early on, which is somehow too rushed yet boring, but the action sequences and sheer coolness (no pun intended) of the mountain-peak clinic in both design and location offer a great deal of entertainment and awe-inspiration. The plot is pretty stupid and it does have some campy moments like the bobsled sequence, but overall it's a good combination of the camp and grit that makes the series entertaining. The ending has almost the same weight as casino royale, only we don't visibly see it harden Bond into the hardened ladie's man we know him as.

I stand 100 fucking behind the opinion that Skyfall and Spectre are reddit bond films. Skyfall was a direct response to Quantum, which was critically panned and is a meme to hate on reddit. Quantum was a perfectly fine sequel to Casino, people just bitch about it not having a bond girl who sucks Craig's dick and a villain who has a realistically attainable goal instead of some stupid shit plan.
So what do they do for Skyfall? Appease the reddit crowd. The normies.
>OMGZ WE'RE BEING HACKED, UNPLUG THE ETHERNET QUICK!!!11
>I wanted to get captured the whole time! Just like le dark knight!
>It's me Bond, Q! you know, the stupidest and most hammy part of this entire franchise, back again in the gritty reboot universe to lighten the tone and provide you with stupid gadgets like a wackadoodle! LULZ so randum!!!
Spectre just continues the pandering with Blofeld and more dumb corny tropes. The Craig bond films breathed new life into a dying and irrelevant franchise, and they had to go and fucking ruin it by pandering to the reddit hype culture meme crowd who want campy dumb Bond.
At this point, the Craig films are irredeemable.

I actually really liked individual sequences in spectre, and honestly it felt like a vignette of stereotypical bond sequences rather than a coherent film. The intro had a great atmosphere, a gadget that actually felt high-tech yet practical, and exactly one practical gag. The car chase was good, because it balanced practical gadgets with humor, and the interrogation scene would've been good if it was established that Blomfeld actually cured his nemesis of his skyfall wounds with his torture, thereby providing him the skills to shoot all of his mooks from the hip upon escaping. Also the M16 scene should have been in the middle, and blowing up the base with blomfeld inside the finale.

>thinking DAD deserves to be in this franchise above anything
Personally, I hate Diamonds are forever more.
Too me it's the all time worst Bond film.

same, DAD and DAF are both the series low points, but DAF had connery being lazy and terrible and was a bad sequel to a great film
>>70555663
funny how they both had some pretty hot Bond girls though

>Random shots of Vesper not present in the film QoS spliced in
Here ya go pham.
>>70556250It's from a fanedit. I was just shitposting anyways. I still don't really care for the scene.
