Is it possible for a twentysomething, kissless virgin to enjoy romcoms?
>>
You can't fully appreciate a rom-com until you've been in a romantic relationship. Just like you can't really understand Star Wars until you've been to outer space.
>>
>>70487371
she cute
>>
>>70487371
Yes

I do
>>
I'm one of those and I find all romantic comedies unfunny and cliche.
>>
>>70487800
I know you're fucking around, but there is a truth to this... in a way. The relationships between characters in films like Star Wars cannot be appreciated as well if you do not have close relationships in your real life. And yeah, if you have been to outer space, it would probably change your perception of Star Wars, for better or worse.

Anyways, OP: I watched Before Sunrise as a twentysomething kissless virgin and loved it. Though it's more "rom" than "com."
>>
Is watching romantic comedies a good way to prepare yourself for a real relationship?
>>
>>70487371
Where is this from?
>>
The only romantic comedies worth watching are Just Friends and The Girl Next Door, and maybe There's Something About Mary, because they focus more on the comedy than the romance.
>>
>>70487371

what did she mean with that stare?

also the hands of the thing handling the cookie are ugly as fuck.
>>
>>70488388
I don't know. I'm on the spectrum, so I have trouble reading faces. Maybe she's constipated?
>>
>>70488216
Is watching pornography a good way to prepare for losing your virginity?
>>
>>70489480
>>70488388
jealous, she is clearly daydreaming
>>
who is this qt
>>
>>70488388
Its an "I dont need no man" glare, she's crying on the inside.
>>
>>70487371
You can enjoy the good ones
So no, you can't enjoy romantic comedies

The better question is can people who had no friends or relationships in highschool enjoy teen movies
>>
>>70487371
>a qt will never glare at you like that
pls help ;-;
>>
>>70488388
>>70489480
She's just waiting in line for some food and is looking off into the distance. She happened to be looking in the direction of the camera at the time of the photo and probably wasn't even aware of it when it happened. She has a bit of a restig bitchface going on so it looks like she's staring at the camera with a mild contempt, jealous that she has nobody to feed a cookie to but also judging of the people doing it.
>>
I do enjoy romcoms.
>>
I've never enjoyed romcoms, they're so fucking formulaic you could probably design a bridge using one.
>boy meets girl
>boy falls for girl
>girl not interested because he's a loser/weirdo/whatevero
>WACKY MONTAGE!
>eventually guy wins girl's heart
>guy says/does something stupid or was originally scumbag or something
>girl disgusted with guy
>guy tries everything to win girl back
>eventually does
>kick off the credits with some kind of contemporary pop song
>>
>>70487371
You dense autist. Romcoms are specifically for wizards like you.
>>
>>70491129
Can people who had no friends or relationships in high school ever truly enjoy anything?
>>
>>70491129
I can enjoy teen movies but I feel a little depressed aftewards
>>
>>70491391
I enjoy movies and anime
>>
>>70491391

>>
>>70491225

It's a film called BUFFALO '66 by VINCENT GALLO.

It's pure kino by the way.
>>
>>70491506
She's not. Her eyes are pointed direct and upwards putting the people at the table in her periphals. If she is aware of them she's clearly trying to look away.
>>
>>70491612

are you cognitively compromised? she is looking directly at the guy. DIRECTLY.
>>
>>70491391

wow

that's depressing my man
>>
>>70490447
Of course just like jumping in front of a school bus full of young brats is a good way to teach them about trauma.
>>
>>70487371
lots of kissless twentysomethings like slice of life anime, romcoms aren't much of a leap from that
>>
>>70490447

i-is it not?
>>
>>70491588
You like vincent gallo movies? are you a fucking woman?
>>
>>70487371
Somebody's about to get their shit slapped in that pic.
>>
>>70487371
You shouldn't enjoy rom-coms at any age or relationship status.
>>
>>70493378
>he doesn't like Buffalo '66 objectively one of the best films ever made
get the fuck out of here, pleb
>>
>>70487371
Shouldn't I be asking you that?
>>
>>70487371
What are some romantic movies that will finally give me the strength to kill myself? Before Sunster trilogy was close, but not enough.
>>
I have literally never had a gf and I never plan on having one, but I thoroughly enjoy a couple different romcoms. They're not my favorite movies ever, but I still appreciate them.
>>
I don't watch a lot of tv but I like buddy comedies and reading romance manga.

>>70491129
not really
>>
>>70487371
sure, just be happy for others, quit being bitter and enjoy life till you die

This, but you can't die until they also animate the sequel.
>>
>>70487371
romance is not that other-worldly, it's pretty easy to imagine.

What is that gay ass anime shit

Maybe that was her cookie.
>>
>>70495512
It saved anime.

>>
Romance doesn't exist. Most women are whores. She will betray you/ manipulate you with the only power she has
>>
Nice blog, facebook-posting faggot.
Get the fuck out of here.
>>
>>70496700
Come over here and make me, bro.
>>

Am I more retarded for figuring out this meant 'over the pants hand job' or for not realizing this was a thing?
>>
Castaway on the Moon is a good romantic comedy.
>>

What if I have close relationships with anonymous strangers on image boards?

Castaway on the Moon is not a fucking romantic comedy you fucking idiot. It's about isolation. If you interpreted the ending as a romantic development you are fucking retarded and need to watch it again

>>70499202
still haven't watched this
>>
>>70500534
Of course it's a romantic comedy, you dum-dum.
>>
>>70500586
no you are an idiot. so is the director for labeling it that to get more viewers

I'm a 26 year old virgin, and I love rom-coms, but only classic ones. I think in Hollywood's Golden Age, romantic comedies were made to appeal to both men and women, while modern ones are generally designed specifically for women.
>>
>>70500534
Why are you just learning about this movie now newfag?
>>
>>70500626
No, you're a dum-dum. It's a romantic comedy. Deal with it, dum-dum.
>>
>>70500705
>now
what the fuck are you talking about faggot?
>>70500724
kill yourself
>>

What is this expression trying to convey?
>>
What does the cookie represent in this particular scene?
>>
>ywn know who this girl is ;_;
>>
>>70501126

America's imperialist foreign policy approach in the Middle East.
>>
>>70487835
Be careful she looks underage
>>
>>70502717
Not really. She looks about 19-20
>>
>>70502941
Still too young.
>>
>>70500936

jealousy. she is mad at X but eagering to get X.
>>
>>70491799
not the person you're replying to, but the zoomed in picture is right there for you to see she's looking towards if not directly at the camera. If it wasn't for that I too would think she's staring at them rather than the phone.
