This is the network that gave us Sopranos, Wire, Deadwood, Rome, Six Feet Under, Curb your Enthusiasm and Larry Sanders Show.
True Detective, Boardwalk and early GoT were great but two them are finished, one with a terrible second season and I'm just doing GoT now because I've been watching it for so long I need to know how it finishes and the books aren't coming.
They've fallen so far from grace. Their current slate is uninspiring.

Bobby Cannavale is great. The acting in general is actually pretty fantastic.
The writing and direction of the show is all over the place though. And it's pretty plebeian honestly in terms of the constant 70s celebrities that are always on screen
