I liked it, it had good action and I appreciated the lack of a romance.

I hate Transformers and love PR to the point I can barely finish a Transformer movie and bought the Bluray of Pacific.
Transformers are too long, too convoluted even though all that happens is stupid, and all characters, even the robots, and unlikeable, at least for me.
Plus cinematographically speaking, Transformers are horrendous, and Pacific got Del Toro magic, and few good actors. They are not in the same genre or league for me.
