i'm excited because Lynch hasn't done any film or tv work in a while and he's always someone to keep an eye on. however, i recently rewatched Twin Peaks and found it underwhelming. very underwhelming. the spooky bits were done well and remain effective, but a lot of the melodrama feels outdated in a bad and unpleasant way. hope the new season lives up to his film work and not the previous seasons of the show.
